Dear Carl;

I'm sure you don't remember me, but I first met you back in Santa Ana when my parents bought a Rolex for me as "lifetime achievement award." I had just passed my boards for Orthopedic surgery. After that, my wife, Susie, and I bought several very nice pieces of diamond jewelry over the next couple of years which we still treasure. While I know you have thousands of customers, every time we came into your store, you and Rose were always very nice and treated us like your most important customers.

Recently my Rolex stopped working and I called up your web page to see how I could go about sending it in for repairs. I was shocked and saddened to see that you had suffered a stroke, although glad to see that you were up and about and from the wordiness of your website, still mentally 100%.
Please accept Susie and my best wishes for your continued good health. We will always consider you and your family our jewelers and as I said before, we're always very grateful for the gracious way you treated us.

Yours truly,
